Two dates are all you need to watch
A dividend is a portion of a company's earnings paid to shareholders — you receive it simply for holding the stock through a set date, no selling required. On Roxom every dividend is converted to Bitcoin. Once you own the asset, only two dates matter:
Ex-dividend date — the cutoff
Own the asset before this date to qualify for the payout. Buying on the ex-date or later does not count — the dividend goes to the previous holder.
Payment date → BTC
On this day the declared cash dividend converts to Bitcoin at the BTC/USD price at the market close, after any US withholding.
Credited to your UTA
BTC is credited to your Unified Trading Account on the payment date itself, shortly after the US market close. If the payment date falls on a weekend or market holiday, it's credited the next business day.
