Bond ETFs Unfazed By Fed Decision To Keep Rates SteadyThe bond market remained stable on Thursday morning after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged on Wednesday, as bond exchange-traded funds stayed flat in early-morning trading. The Fed kept rates at a 23-year high of between 5.25% and 5.5% on Wednesday as it strives to lower the 3.3% inflation rate to 2%. “The Committee does not expect it will be appropriate to reduce the target range until it has gained greater confidence that inflation is moving sustainably toward 2 percent,” the agency said in a statement on Wednesday.
