Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) provides regulated exposure to Bitcoin through a publicly traded investment product. Launched in 2013, it was the first U.S. Bitcoin fund and transitioned into a spot Bitcoin ETP listed on NYSE Arca in 2024. GBTC allows investors to access Bitcoin via traditional brokerage accounts without direct custody.
